I am thankful to have had so many great opportunities to not only create fragrances, but to cultivate the scent signatures shaping consumer tastes and scent expectations across multiple product categories around the world.
Pantene
As I have designed fragrances for Pantene from the time P&G acquired the brand, I have helped curate the overall "smell of shampoo" for consumers around the world.
Olay
While Olay traditionally focused on the smell of skin products from Olay pink lotion to its face creams, I helped broaden the scent horizon and now the Olay body washes are some of my favorite creations that make the consumer smile in the shower and last on the skin.
Old Spice
We will always have female scents and male scents, but the future of gender and what this means for fragrance will evolve. I saw this with my work on Old Spice as consumers want more gender neutral and unisex scents.
Head and Shoulders
Consumers are open to trying things we may not have expected in the past, which I saw during my work on Head and Shoulders. A rose scent today can be like by all genders and all ethnic cultures. But then, you also have special scents that mean something for a unique group of people.
Herbal Essences
Spices are big in my life. The argan oil Herbal Essences products actually have a garam masala note in the fragrance, which comes from my Indian heritage and my background.
Secret
While Olay traditionally focused on the smell of skin products from Olay pink lotion to its face creams, I helped broaden the scent horizon and now the Olay body washes are some of my favorite creations that make the consumer smile in the shower and last on the skin.
Camay
My favorite launch was Camay, Zerlina Dubois. The fragrance was elegant yet had power and technology that really made it stand out in a memorable way for the brand.
